ICA Action: Wisconsin Canvass 8/22
Come and join Indivisible Chicago knocking doors in the critical swing state of Wisconsin as we work to engage voters and defeat Trump. We’ll be talking to voters about what issues matter most to them and building momentum for the months ahead.
We'll make the less than 90-minute drive from Chicago to our meetup location in Wisconsin (exact location coming soon). We’ll have a pre-canvass briefing once we get there, then split off into pairs to knock doors and talk with voters. We'll provide all the info and prep you'll need and will have carpools for anyone needing a ride.
Community Action: Pathway to Citizenship Now
ICE has shot and killed people in our streets. Dozens have died in ICE custody. These aren't isolated events. Stephen Miller took these tactics straight from the authoritarian playbook and is now overseeing a $240+ billion immigration enforcement machine that threatens all our rights.
We can't wait for vague promises of change. We need solutions today, before one more person is harmed by the mass deportation agenda.
The Dream and Promise Act is a critical piece of this solution. It creates an actual pathway to citizenship for Dreamers who came to the country as children, people with Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and other long-term residents who have become integral members of our communities. It stops President Trump from using legal status as a weapon and mass deporting our neighbors on a whim. Congress must act immediately.

Partner Action: Know Your Rights Workshops 8/11 & 8/25
Join an upcoming virtual Know Your Rights or Migra Watch training with ICIRR. Learn how to protect yourself and your community during encounters with immigration or law enforcement. This workshop will cover our fundamental rights, how to assert them safely, and where to find trusted resources and support.
👉 Workshops on Zoom are scheduled for August 11 and August 25 at 6PM. You only need to sign up for one.
