Indivisible Action: Immigrant Justice Summer Call 8/6
When an ICE surge hits and there is no clarity on what to do, responses stall and the window to act closes fast. This call trains you on the components of a rapid response: the coordinated set of actions your community takes in real time when ICE is active, and what it looks like to show up with a plan.
On this one-hour national training call, you will:
Learn the structural components of a strong rapid response plan, what it includes, how it's organized, and communication tools that make it effective.
Explore the specific roles people can play within that plan, from documentation and filming, to school patrol, small business outreach, and mutual aid coordination.
Hear directly from local groups that have responded to a surge, sharing the tactics they deployed, the roles their members filled, and the learnings other communities can apply.
You'll leave with the knowledge and framework to develop a plan adapted to your own community context so that when a rapid response is necessary you can show up with a plan. This is the third call in the five-part Immigrant Justice Summer training series, open to all Indivisible members.

Partner Action: Bea Lumpkin Celebration of Life 8/9
Bea Lumpkin (1918-2026) was a towering figure: labor organizer, educator, political activist, community leader, mentor. She was active until the very last, including at Montgomery Place, her most recent home. When she died last June at the age of 107, many of us felt both grief and fierce inspiration. If ever we feel tired or hopeless, may we think of Bea Lumpkin and keep fighting!

Community Action: Microplastics Rule Public Comment
Food & Water Action is calling for public comments to urge the EPA to start testing drinking water for microplastics under its next monitoring rule (UCMR 6). Microplastics in our tap water are a serious health issue, and everyone deserves to know what they’re actually drinking.
Since the EPA only updates these testing rules once every five years, if we don't get microplastics included now, we'll have to wait years for any real answers or action.
To help make this happen, please submit your comment to the EPA by 11:59 PM ET on August 31, 2026.
