Wednesday, May 6 - Witness Slip Roundup / States Win Chicago Phonebank 5/13 / Downtown Chapter Meeting 5/11

Community Action: Witness Slip Roundup

The Illinois General Assembly is back in Session, and now’s the time to make your voice heard! A Witness Slip is a person or group's position on a particular bill. Filling out a witness slip is a great way to let legislators know whether you support or oppose a bill.

Witness slips are read during a committee hearing and help inform legislators as to where people stand, allowing informed decisions when voting. Witness slips are a quick way to make your voice heard in state government.

👉 Fill out these witness slips as PROPONENT to support legislation that safeguards civil rights, expands gender-equity healthcare, modernizes survivor protections, improves worker dignity, and ensures the well-being of modern families.

Not sure how to fill out a witness slip? Check the link above for instructions!

Let's flip Wisconsin blue!

Meet Robyn Vining: Robyn has built a reputation as a tireless advocate for public education, healthcare access, common-sense gun reform, and economic fairness. States Win has proudly partnered with Robyn across multiple cycles, and she has a proven record of flipping and holding competitive seats. Now, she is taking that to the next level in her race for State Senate.

Robyn’s race is the most flippable Senate district in Wisconsin this cycle! Winning this seat is essential to building a Democratic majority in Wisconsin.
