Tuesday, May 5 - Phone Bank with Ground Truth 5/6 / Volunteer at Food Bank 5/9 / Postcards to Swing States
Community Action: Phone Bank with Ground Truth 5/6
Join Swing Left for a Ground Truth phone bank—designed to fix what’s broken in Democratic organizing. We’re launching an innovative new program that will revolutionize how we connect with voters over the phone.
Our goal: to help Democrats rebuild trust, win tough races, and flip the House. We're building community one phone call at a time, having real conversations with real people. During Ground Truth phone banks, we will talk to as many people as possible and focus on listening.
👉 Join the next phone bank on Wednesday, May 6 or see future dates.

ICA Partner Action: Volunteer at the Greater Chicago Food Depository 5/9
Take some time to provide support to the 1 in 5 of our Chicago neighbors being impacted by food insecurity. Join Indivisible Greater West Loop as we serve our community at the Greater Chicago Food Depository. We will be helping staff there repackage bulk food donations into smaller portions that can be given to hungry families in need.

ICA Action: Postcards to Swing States
Indivisible Chicago Alliance has postcards from Postcards to Swing States for you to pick up and write at your convenience!
The postcards are to Michigan voters urging them to vote in the Nov 3rd general election. Wins in MIchigan are crucial to fight against MAGA. Several federal and state seats will be decided:
An open seat race for U.S. Senate rated a toss-up that we must retain if we’re going to flip the Senate
Open seat races for the three statewide offices - Governor, Secretary of State, and Attorney General - that will oversee Michigan’s election results in 2028
Races that will determine control of Michigan’s state legislature
Should you want to hold a postcard party with your chapter, friends or family, or want to write postcards on your own, please contact Pat Graham at pat@indivisiblechicago.com and she will help you with the details. ICA provides the postcards, address list and script. Writers provide the stamps for their written postcards and mail on Oct 14th.
👉 We will start making postcards available for pick up May 9th at locations in Lakeview and Lincoln Square. Contact pat@indivisiblechicago.com for details along with the number of postcards you want!
P.S. stay tuned for ICA future postcard parties via Mobilize!
While some of these Daily Actions come from our own work as Indivisible Chicago Alliance, others are from our many partners working to advance the progressive agenda.
