ICA Partner Action: TOMORROW - Planting Seeds of Resistance 9/3
Indivisible Lincoln Square is having a meet-and-greet to turn up the heat!
This event piggybacks on Indivisible’s “One Million Rising” training. To counter the authoritarian onslaught, we need a grassroots resistance of strategic non-cooperation that can be practiced at your grocery store, your 'L' stop, your gym—anywhere you are part of a community.
Let's brainstorm and find effective ways to help undermine Trump's pillars of support.New members are very welcome—bring your friends!
👉 Join the event on Wednesday, September 3, 7-9 pm at Oakwood 83 (1959 W Montrose).
Partner Action: Tell the Smithsonian: Reject Demands to Whitewash History
The Trump regime’s campaign of whitewashing US history has reached the halls of the Smithsonian museums, with exhibits dealing with slavery, the civil rights movement, and other struggles against oppression now under threat of elimination.
The regime has ordered a review of seven museums thus far and threatened to block federal funding – which accounts for the majority of the museums’ budgets – unless administrators bring displays into conformity with the regime’s ideology.
This attack on the past is all about the politics of the present. The Trump regime is methodically dismantling programs that seek to address inequality and fight discrimination. That white nationalist project becomes far easier if the public lacks the historical context for why those programs were created and remain critical to our progress as a nation. All of us need to push back.

Partner Action: We Are All DC: A National March 9/6
DC communities are under attack and if you can travel to DC to protest and march on Saturday, September 6th, you are welcome because We Are ALL DC!
Federal troops, out-of-state National Guard, and Trump-controlled police are harassing, surveilling, and detaining Black and Brown residents, immigrants, youth, and unhoused neighbors. Hundreds have been arrested. Thousands harassed. All for daring to simply live their daily lives.
On September 6, people from DC and the states are marching to demand an end to the Trump Takeover of DC.
We’re marching for:
An immediate withdrawal of federal troops from the District
An end to the federalization of the local police department
The right to protect our communities in the future, permanently
