Friday, April 25 - Protecting Immigrant Neighbors Canvass 4/26 / Hold Pete Hegseth Accountable / May Day 2025 Rally and March
ICA Action: Protecting Immigrant Neighbors Canvass on Saturday
Join Indivisible Lincoln Square to finish up our canvass of businesses in the 47th ward and make sure they know what to do if ICE comes knocking.
We’ll visit 47th Ward businesses explaining our concern about our immigrant and refugee neighbors and workers who might be targeted by ICE and other federal agencies. We’ll share materials which will explain their rights and those of their employees if ICE enters their establishment. We’ll leave literature for future reference.
👉 RSVP here for the canvass on Saturday, April 26 from 1-3 p.m.

Partner Action: Hold Pete Hegseth and Cabinet Officials Accountable
On March 24, 2025, Michael Waltz, the National Security Advisor, accidentally included an Atlantic editor in a Signal chat where Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth shared sensitive U.S. military strike plans for Yemen—just two hours before the operation. This chat involved several top officials, raising immediate concerns about the security of classified information.
By April 2, 2025, reports revealed that Waltz's team regularly used Signal to discuss official work, confirming at least 20 chats sharing sensitive information. Hegseth was also found sharing similar military plans in another Signal chat with his own family on April 20, 2025. Given these breaches, which could violate the Espionage Act, it’s crucial to act.
👉 Demand your representatives call for the resignation of Hegseth and Waltz.

I ask that [REP/SEN NAME]
