Partner Action: Condemn RFK Jr’s False Report on Transgender Youth Treatment
On May 1st, the Department of Health and Human Services, led by anti-vaxxer RFK Jr., released a report on “Treatment for Pediatric Gender Dysphoria” that promotes unproven conversion therapy instead of evidence-based gender-affirming care. The American Academy of Pediatrics condemned the report, calling it a misrepresentation of medical consensus, while the AMA urged states not to ban gender-affirming care.
RFK Jr. has used his position to advance pseudoscience against vaccines and biomedical science. This report endangers the health and well-being of transgender and gender-diverse children.
