Friday, April 3 - Rally for Trans Visibility 4/4 / Drinks for Democracy 4/7 / Winning the Midterms 4/8
Partner Action: Rally for Trans Visibility 4/4
Visibility is power — and our community is showing up loud. Join us for the Rally for Trans Visibility as trans-led organizations and allies unite to center trans voices and demand a future where our communities are safe, seen, and celebrated. Together, we are demanding full access to healthcare, accurate legal documentation, safe and stable housing, food security, and the fundamental resources every person deserves.
We are standing in solidarity with our community in Kansas and across the country as we face coordinated attacks on our rights — including devastating rollbacks in access to gender-affirming care for minors. Our youth deserve protection, affirmation, and the freedom to thrive — not political interference in their healthcare.
This rally is a call to action: trans rights are human rights. Whether you’re trans, an ally, or still learning — your presence matters. Be part of the growing coalition fighting for safety, dignity, and liberation for all trans people.

ICA Partner Action: Drinks for Democracy 4/7
Join Indivisible Greater West Loop for a fun, social evening of democracy in action! Write postcards, meet new friends, and help save democracy. Food and drinks are available for purchase from Green Street Local.
We’ll be writing postcards to Virginia to support their effort to restore fair elections in that state. We well also have letters to write to young voters in Pennsylvania to get them to vote in their primary election.
We'll bring the postcards and supplies. Please consider bringing your own postcard stamps or pitching in with a small donation to help cover supplies and postage.
👉 Join Drinks for Democracy on Tuesday, April 7 from 6 – 8pm at Green Street Local (130 S Green St.)
Community Action: Winning the Midterms: How You Can Make a Difference 4/8
Where should you invest to make the biggest impact on the 2026 midterms? That's exactly what we'll dig into at our April 8th meeting, with a guest who has the data to help you decide.
Charles Douglas III, Executive Director of Common Power, has built his organization into a nationally recognized force — providing rigorous, nonpartisan analyses of political races to identify where progressive candidates have the best shot. Common Power also develops young activists and pairs them with experienced organizers to move voters in key districts and states. Charles will share recent victories, highlight the best opportunities for electing pro-democracy, pro-climate candidates in 2026, and leave plenty of time for your questions. You'll walk away knowing exactly where your energy and resources can matter most.
👉 Join Winning the Midterms: How You Can Make a Difference on Wednesday, April 8 at 7 PM
