As you may have heard, knocking on voters' doors and engaging them in one-on-one conversations is the single most effective way to win their vote. But maybe you're hesitant about canvassing. A lot of people are! Or, maybe it's been a while and you need a refresher or just have questions about how it works.
Whether you've never canvassed or just need to shake off the rust, this live training class is for you. We show you what to expect; lead you through the process step-by-step; share tips accumulated over years of experience; and answer all your questions and concerns. And we bring friends from Chicago improv companies to add a little fun and a lot of communication savvy.
👉 Our session on July 21 is hosted by Indivisible Rogers Park-West Ridge. All are welcome to attend, wherever you live.
Indivisible Action: Faith on the Front Lines 7/16
Join Indivisible, Interfaith Alliance, Interfaith Immigration Coalition, Church World Service, and others to discuss how faith leaders can play a critical role in movements against unjust immigration enforcement and detention centers in our communities. You’ll hear first-hand from faith leaders who are already on the front lines, supporting our immigrant neighbors and opposing cruel and inhumane immigration policies.
You’ll learn how to engage with local faith communities– and push our leaders, if necessary –- to ensure that we all show moral courage and stand up for the immigrant families in our communities.
This call is for people of conscience and all faith communities and for faith leaders who are looking for ways to take action to stop detention.

Chapter Action: GOTV Postcard Writing Party 7/18
Sign up to write postcards to Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin with Indivisible Elk Grove Township to GET OUT THE VOTE for the Nov. 3 midterm elections. Democrats can win control of both the House and Senate this fall, but we need volunteers just like you to make that a reality.
What We Provide: Free postcards, voter lists, and clear instructions with proven message options.
What You Provide: Postcard stamps.
Stamp Tip: Postcard stamps are currently $0.61, but the rate increases to $0.65 on July 12. Buy your stamps now to lock in the lower price! All cards will be mailed in October.
Spotlight (spotlightee.org) will be on hand for voter registration and education.
