Partner Action: Oppose the Sharing of Medicaid and IRS Data with ICE
The Trump administration is increasingly weaponizing federal data to push a racist, fascist agenda, especially targeting immigrants. Traditionally, agencies protected enrollees’ private info, but in March 2025, Trump ordered all federal agencies to share data, using Peter Thiel’s AI company Palantir. Agencies like the IRS and HHS now share sensitive health and financial data with ICE, facilitating mass deportations.
These agreements violate privacy and harm immigrant communities; the IRS’s data-sharing discourages undocumented taxpayers from filing, while HHS grants ICE access to personal info of 80 million Medicaid enrollees, threatening healthcare access. This misuse of federal data is a dangerous step toward fascism, empowering ICE’s terror campaign and undermining the privacy and safety of all Americans.
👉 Call on Congress to oppose data-sharing with ICE.

Script: Hello, my name is [NAME] and I’m a constituent from [CITY, ZIP]. II’m calling to express my horror and outrage that the confidential data of tax payers and Medicaid enrollees is being shared with ICE. I ask that [REP/SEN NAME] vocally oppose this illegal data-sharing, which furthers this administration's attacks against immigrant communities and endangers the privacy and civil rights of all Americans.
