Monday, September 15 - Online Town Hall Tomorrow / WI Voter Protection Phonebanks Mon & Thurs / Signs for Solidarity Canvass 9/20
Partner Action: Public Citizen Online Town Hall TOMORROW
We hope you can join Public Citizen for a nationwide town hall where we will:
Update you on the various lawsuits we’ve filed — 18 so far — against the Trump regime.
Highlight the organizing we’re doing to oppose Trump’s militarized takeover of Washington, DC and how we’re planning to resist future takeover attempts in places like New Orleans and Baltimore.
Talk about how we’re finding hope, building community, mobilizing all across the country, and scoring victories even in the face of the Trump Administration’s relentless assault on our democracy.
Answer questions from Public Citizen supporters.
👉 Sign up for the town hall Tuesday, September 16 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. CT.

Partner Action: WI Poll Worker Recruitment Phonebank Mon & Thurs
Help protect the vote in Wisconsin by recruiting poll worker nominees for the upcoming 2026-2027 election cycle! You’ll start by making calls to people in Wisconsin to talk about why voting rights matter and to get them involved as a poll worker, and then we’ll give you the tools to engage your own community in the fight for voting rights.
All you need is your phone and a computer (laptop or desktop, not a tablet). Training is offered at every phonebank on Zoom and we provide the script!
👉 Join the weekly phone banks on Mondays and Thursdays.

ICA Partner Action: Signs for Solidarity Canvass 9/20
In response to increased ICE activity, Indivisible Downtown will be holding a Signs for Solidarity Canvass in the IDC area Saturday, September 20th from 11 - 1pm. The Indivisible Downtown Chapter will be handing out posters from the Signs 4 Solidarity program to local businesses who are willing to post them in their windows.
In the process we will be explaining our concerns for our immigrant and refugee neighbors who might be targeted by ICE and other federal agencies.
We only ask that you go to the Signs for Solidarity site register, and print out your signs . We suggest printing 15 colorful signs of each category (some “no Kings, No Ice” and some “Immigrants are Welcome Here”) for posting in the windows, and 15 “PRIVATE area, employees only” signs for posting inside the business.
👉 If you would like to participate, please email indivisible.downtown.chicago@gmail.com by this coming Thursday, September 17th. Tell us what neighborhood you plan to canvass and let let us know if you are bringing a buddy or would like us to try to connect with a buddy who interested in that area.
Afterwards we will meet at Necessary and Sufficient Coffee at 728 S Dearborn St to share our experiences, and have a bite to eat.
While some of these Daily Actions come from our own work as Indivisible Chicago Alliance, others are from our many partners working to advance the progressive agenda. We invite you to join us in supporting their work. Postings from partners do not imply Indivisible Chicago Alliance endorsement of specific policies and positions.
