Tuesday, November 26 - Michigan Election Results Debrief / Support the RACE ACT

Actions You Can Take

Action 1: TONIGHT - Michigan Election Results Debriefing

If you canvassed, called, texted, or wrote to Michigan voters—or if you're curious about the state's election results, join Indivisible Chicago Alliance for a debrief on Zoom on Tuesday, November 26 at 7:30 p.m. We'll talk with State Rep. Joey Andrews, who won reelection, and go through the numbers for all the races, statewide and in our target canvassing area.

Action 2: Support the RACE ACT

In order for democracy to serve all of us, democracy must include all of us. The RACE Act, introduced by Senator Lakesia Collins, is a critical piece of legislation aimed at restoring voting rights to individuals in prison, empowering those impacted by the American legal system.

Here’s how you can help:
1. Contact your legislators: Email your Illinois state representatives to support the RACE Act.
2. Spread the word: Use the hashtag #UnlockCivics to show your support and encourage others to join the fight.

Together, we can restore the civic rights of all Illinoisans and ensure our democracy is more inclusive.
