Partner Action: Fight the Trump Administration's Election Interference
In an attempt to exert control over our elections, Trump called on Republicans to “nationalize the voting." While the federal government lacks the legal authority to do so, the Trump administration has continued to perpetuate misinformation about the 2020 and 2024 elections, and they have taken extraordinary steps to interfere with states’ authority over their election systems and voter data.
The FBI conducted a raid at the election headquarters of Fulton County, Georgia, and seized records from the 2020 election, including ballots, voter rolls, and digital data.
AG Pam Bondi informed Minnesota governor Tim Walz that she would pull ICE out of Minnesota if the state turned over their sensitive voter registration records to the federal government.
The Trump administration has sued more than 20 states for refusing to hand over their voter files.
Trump signed an executive order to ban all mail-in voting across the country, an unconstitutional act the federal government does not have legal authority to do.
The Trump administration has implemented “a searchable national citizenship data system” to ensure that only American citizens are voting, yet the secrecy surrounding the creation of the database is leading many to suspect it could inaccurately disenfranchise eligible voters.
👉 Demand that our state government protect the integrity of Illinois elections!
Call Governor Pritzker - 217-782-6830
Script: Hi, my name is [NAME] and I’m a constituent from [Zip code]. I'm calling to express my concerns about the Trump administration’s ongoing interference with our election systems. I ask that Governor Pritzker defend the state’s constitutional authority over elections by refusing to hand over sensitive voter data to the DOJ and ensuring our elections remain free from federal government control.

Partner Action: Chicago Veterans Against ICE Campaign Meeting 2/15
Veterans across the Chicago metro area are invited to a strategy and action meeting in Pilsen to organize against ICE raids, detention, and family separation. The event is for military veterans of all eras, branches, and backgrounds; allies and family members are welcome. Participants will move from concern to concrete campaign work to defend local communities.
The meeting will share current info on ICE activity in Chicago, identify pressure points and campaign targets (local policymakers, corporations, facilities), plan veteran-led direct actions, and build a sustained network with clear next steps.
👉 Veterans are invited to join the Chicago Veterans Against ICE Campaign Meeting on Sunday, February 15 at 2 p.m. in Pilsen (exact location will be given closer to the date).

Partner Action: Tell Congress: Reject the SAVE Act
Last year, lawmakers tried to pass the deeply unpopular SAVE Act that would have blocked millions of eligible Americans from voting. It didn’t go over well.
Last week, lawmakers in both the House and Senate renewed their push to pass the SAVE Act, introducing multiple new versions of this awful bill. Like their predecessor, these proposals would require voters to produce a document like a passport or birth certificate to register to vote. More than 21 million American citizens don’t have these documents readily available.
Members of Congress gave up on the original SAVE Act after hearing strong opposition from their constituents. We must make sure they hear us again.
