Thank you to everyone who wrote postcards and mailed them by the October 21st deadline this week! They are now on their way to voters in key states and US House districts for the 2026 midterms elections. Since 2020, the Indivisible Chicago and our Alliance chapters have written hundreds of thousands of postcards to voters. Democrats can win control of both the House and Senate this fall, but volunteers just like you contributed to making that a reality. 

How does it work?

Postcards, the list of voters’ addresses, and the script with proven, research-based messages are provided. All the mailing dates for these postcards have passed — check your instructions and mail them on the correct date. What’s Next?

There is still time to make a difference and volunteer in this final push until Election Day on November 3. Your cards are mailed, so now you have time to get out the vote (even from home!) in Michigan and Wisconsin, where crucial races will determine the balance of power in the House and Senate. The governor’s races will impact not only state policies but the results of the 2028 election, as they certify the results.
