Stopping Trump’s attempts to sabotage the 2026 election means preparing for all of the threats we could face — and being ready with community power, not panic. We are democracy’s strongest line of defense — and we need all hands on deck for this nationwide effort. Here in Chicago, we have a unique opportunity to help our neighbors in Michigan and Wisconsin protect their voters’ rights — both in person and from home.
Protect Voting Rights in Michigan and Wisconsin
There are many ways for out-of-state volunteers like us to help protect the vote in Michigan and Wisconsin. You can staff voter protection hotlines, ballot curing (helping people correct issues with their absentee ballots), or make calls to recruit past in-state volunteers. There is also a great need for poll observers on Election Day.
