Texting: reach voters where they are
Join our Zoom text banks and send texts to help get out the vote in important swing states. Text messaging is a great way to reach voters where they are — directly on their phones. We send them helpful links they can use right away to learn more about candidates, register and vote. In 2024, our amazing ICA Texting Team sent a total of 7M texts to voters in Michigan and Wisconsin.
And we’re ready to do it again for these critical 2026 midterms. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter and daily actions — and check our calendarto be first to know when we schedule them. We anticipate this will be closer to the last critical weeks before the Election Day. For now, see our recommended texting programs below.
How does it work? You don’t need to use your own phone to text. Using texting software on your computer, you can help voters with their registration, voting by mail, find their polling place, and more. Text banking requires a modicum of tech ability, but we do offer training and support to anyone who wants to participate and is willing to learn. Join us!
