ICA & Partner Action: 3 Days Until No Kings Protest!
With only 3 days until the No Kings / Hands Off Chicago! rally and march, momentum is growing for what could be the biggest mass mobilization in modern American history. We need your help to make it a success.
Help us push back against Speaker Johnson calling the rally the “Hate America” event. Show that love for America means loving our neighbors, workers, and the Constitution—values we stand for peacefully and proudly.
👉 Here’s how you can contribute:
Spread the word on social media: Share these graphics and tag us on Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and BlueSky.
Join the Indivisible Chicago Dance Party: Sign up here to bring energy and fun along the march route.
Volunteer at the march: Fill out this form to help with visual, artistic, and logistical roles.
Help spread the message: Reach friends, hang flyers, chalk sidewalks—every contact counts.
Meetup groups: Join local chapters at designated spots to march together.
An Indivisible Lincoln Square contingent will meet at the Western Brown Line station at 10:30 am, at the ILS banner on the platform near the elevator. They will take the first train that comes after 10:30.
Indivisible Chicago-South Side is meeting at 11:15 am in front of the Art Institute South Garden on Michigan Ave on the NE corner of Michigan and Jackson. Promptly at 11:30 they'll leave to walk to rally point.
Indivisible Edgewater is meeting at 11:15 am at the north end of Buckingham Fountain. They just got a new banner so folks can look for that.
Additional chapters may have meet ups scheduled. Please check the list of chapters and reach out to them for any questions about possible meet ups.

We are currently in a moment unlike any other. Over the last few weeks, the Trump administration has been intentionally targeting the state of Illinois, using ICE agents to spread their repressive anti-immigrant agenda.
This increase in immigration enforcement activity has not made anyone safer, as agents have been escalating their violent tactics in an effort to harm as many people as they can, regardless of immigration status. We must call this what it is - state sanctioned violence.
Our lawmakers have a specific role to play in this fight against ICE’s terror. That’s why ICIRR is announcing its platform called S.A.L.T: Safety and Action for Liberation Together.
S.A.L.T includes a series of bills we’re asking our lawmakers to support, which would:
Bar civil arrests by ICE and other law enforcement agencies at our state’s courthouses
Provide guidance for all hospitals in Illinois to protect patients and their staff from potential law enforcement activity, including ICE actions while inside their hospital buildings
Close loopholes in our state’s TRUST Act that ICE could otherwise take advantage of
Expand the protections provided in the Safe Schools law to early childhood and higher education spaces
We are asking members of the General Assembly to support our S.A.L.T platform and keep our communities safe from immigration enforcement!

ICA Partner Action: Show Up Chicago 10/27
Presented monthly by the Blue Beginning chapter of Indivisible Chicago, Show Up Chicago is a combination community gathering, cocktail hour, and political panel show at Chicago's most highly evolved saloon. It's a great chance to meet like-minded neighbors, hear the inside stuff from choice guest speakers, and gossip about the issues that concern us all.
👉 Come to Show Up Chicago on Monday, October 27 at The Hideout (1354 W Wabansia Ave).
This month we'll be hearing eyewitness reports from the front lines of the conflict between Chicago citizens and the Trump invasion forces. Our guest speakers will be Baltazar Enriquez, president of the Little Village Community Council, and Steve Held, one of the principals of Unraveled Press.
Doors open at 6, program runs 7-8:30, but come early and stay late to mix, mingle, and get to know Chicago's friendliest bartenders. Free and open to everyone, but please RSVP here.
While some of these Daily Actions come from our own work as Indivisible Chicago Alliance, others are from our many partners working to advance the progressive agenda. We invite you to join us in supporting their work. Postings from partners do not imply Indivisible Chicago Alliance endorsement of specific policies and positions.
