We support Kamala Harris - Let’s Get To Work and Win
Activists came together in 2017 to create Indivisible Chicago to resist Trump, defeat him in the 2020 election, and to support progressive policies and candidates. Now in 2024, Trump and the MAGA Republicans who support him are an existential threat to everything we believe in – and we are completely focused on defeating them in November. For that reason, over the past few weeks we have repeatedly said that whoever the Democratic candidate is, we are all about the work of knocking on doors, making calls, writing postcards, sending texts, and registering voters.
With President Biden's announcement that he is withdrawing from the race and his endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris, we believe it is time to unite around the Vice President as the best candidate to bring us all together to defeat Trump. Many of our elected officials and progressive organizations have already issued statements supporting the Vice President, and we hope to see others join them. Now is the time to unite around Kamala Harris and engage in an energetic campaign to defeat MAGA and Trump.
We also join in thanking and recognizing President Biden for his decades of service, his leadership and many accomplishments as President. It will now take all of our efforts and activism to defeat Trump and insist on the progressive changes we need to build a more just and sustainable future.
Join us today in this fight to preserve our rights, save democracy, and win in November by signing up for canvassing, phone banks, and more at www.indivisiblechicago.com or visiting our events calendar at www.indivisiblechicago.com/calendar.
