Indivisible Partner Action: Don't Force Trump's Agenda on DC
Trump and his allies in Congress are attacking every single one of the Bill of Rights, every single personal and collective freedom that we are guaranteed. This is a blatant attack on people of this country — and they are coming after the capital city too.
Congress wants to force Trump's agenda on DC and it's going to do it by trying to take away DC's power over its local budget and laws. The regime wants to destabilize DC in order to gain control of it because — just like on January 6 — they want to prevent a transfer of power after this year's elections.
If you don’t want this to keep happening, and you don’t want to live under an authoritarian regime, and in fear, where they can attack anyone for any reason with no way to escape it, email your Representatives or call the Capitol switchboard at 202-224-3121 and ask to talk to your Senators and Representatives.

ICA Partner Action: Greater West Loop Coffee Hour with IL-07 Candidates 2/7
Each month Indivisible Greater West Loop gathers for either a Coffee Hour or Happy Hour — a chance to build community, welcome new members, and share ideas for our chapter’s work. For the first few months of 2026, we're meeting TWICE per month!
This Coffee Hour will include a visit from Richard Boykin, Kina Collins, Dave Erlich, Jason Friedman, Rory Hoskins, Anabel Mendoza, and Jazmin J. Robinson, Democratic candidates for Illinois’ 7th Congressional District, who will join us for an informal meet-and-greet with attendees.
Connect in a small group setting with like-minded neighbors from the West Loop, River West, Near West Side, University Village, Tri-Taylor, and nearby neighborhoods.
👉 Join the Coffee Hour with Indivisible Greater West Loop on Saturday, February 7 at West Loop Library Branch (122 N Aberdeen St).
Partner Action: Get Up to Speed on General Strikes
General strikes can be powerful; they can even bring down a government. But, in order to have an impact, a general strike must have enough commitment and participation of and by the people, unions, and organizations.
As Daniel Hunter of Freedom Trainers says, "You can't meme your way to a general strike." Together, across the country, we must put in the work to build support and prepare people to take part.
👉 Watch the recording of How We Build a General Strike, hosted by the May Day Strong coalition.
The call features Tamika Middleton of the Women's March, Neidi Dominguez of Organized Power in Numbers, Ezra Levin of national Indivisible, Sara Nelson of Association of Flight Attendants, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, Minnesota organizers, and many other speakers including labor leaders, advocates, and activists.
