Indivisible Action: Rein in ICE Now
On January 24, federal forces with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) killed Alex Pretti in Minneapolis. This was just over two weeks after the killing of Renee Good.
These killings are a direct result of unchecked violence, impunity, and abuse carried out by federal immigration enforcement agencies against members of our communities.
Congress is currently negotiating funding for DHS, which includes ICE and Border Patrol. We are demanding our Members of Congress draft a new bill that, at minimum:
Ensures there is not one penny more for ICE or CBP
Pulls ICE and Border Patrol out of Minneapolis and the rest of our communities
Prevents ICE or Border Patrol enforcement at designated ‘sensitive locations’ such as houses of worship, day cares, and hospitals
Restricts ICE and Border Patrol’s ability to target people based on their race, language or accent, place of employment, or location at the time of the apprehension
Ends the administration’s unlawful practice of warrantless home entry and arrests

Partner Action: Protect Trans Youth Healthcare
The federal government has proposed two new rules that could make it virtually impossible for transgender youth to get the health care they need. These proposed rules would:
Block Medicaid and CHIP funding for gender-affirming care for transgender youth; and
Punish hospitals and providers that offer this care by threatening their ability to participate in Medicare and Medicaid altogether.
If finalized, these rules would block hospitals and doctors from providing gender-affirming care to youth across the country. They would also take away public funding like Medicaid and CHIP from kids who rely on that coverage to access best practice, medically necessary care.
Furthermore, not only would these proposals restrict youths’ access to gender-affirming care in the Medicaid and CHIP systems, but because almost every hospital in America receives this funding alongside Medicare, every one of them would have to cut off access to that care to continue receiving federal funding for other patients. This will impact all families seeking care for their trans children, regardless if they are doing so with public insurance, private insurance, or their own funds.
These rules are not final yet — and we have a chance to stop them.
👉 You can help by sending a public comment telling the government why this care matters and why these rules would hurt young people. Comments are due within the next 60 days and will not be reviewed if submitted after the deadline, so please act soon.

Partner Action: Solidarity Singing: Songs From and For Minneapolis 2/13
Solidarity Singing: Songs From and For Minneapolis invites you to learn and raise the songs our Minneapolis kin have been using to build resilience, connection, and collective power. This community singing event uses easy call-and-echo learning—no experience needed—and offers a safe container to metabolize fear, grief, and rage through shared voice. We’ll sing songs shared by Singing Resistance and highlight local actions and solidarity efforts; all voices are welcome.
Tickets are sliding scale $20–$40 (online or at the door); no one turned away. After covering costs, proceeds go to vetted Minneapolis relief funds and our local ICIRR. The event is led by Megan Eberhardt, a community songleader and cultural activist who leads regular song circles at the Old Town School of Folk Music and Kinship Community Choir. Come raise your voice in support and connection.
👉 Join Solidarity Singing: Songs From and For Minneapolis on Friday, February 13 from 7:30 pm to 9 pm at Hairpin Arts Center (2810 North Milwaukee Avenue).
