Tuesday, June 28 - VOTE TODAY / Truth Brigade Illinois Abortion Messaging / Expand the Court

Actions You Can Take Today

Action 1: VOTE IN TODAY’S ELECTION

June 28 is Election Day!  Get all the info you need to vote here.

Don’t forget to support our endorsed candidates, Delia Ramirez and Kina Collins. NOW is the time to help them win.

Each have victory within reach, but we expect the same razor-thin margins we’re seeing across the country:

  • In Pennsylvania, progressive Summer Lee won by 978 votes

  • In Texas, progressive Jessica Cisneros is behind by 157 votes in a race yet to be called

Let’s not wake up June 29 only to find we could have won with just a bit more effort. Make a plan to vote, and check out the Injustice Watch Cook Country Judge Guide.

Action 2: TOMORROW - Truth Brigade Abortion Messaging

Tomorrow, Truth Brigade Illinois will present a program on messaging on abortion in light of the reversal of Roe v. Wade. Tune into the virtual event to learn more.

RSVP for Truth Brigade Illinois Abortion Messaging on Wednesday, June 29 at 7:30 p.m. (virtual event)

Action 3: Call on Congress to Expand the Court

Even as progressives work to expand our rights, the threat of them being overturned by the Supreme Court looms large. We must expand the court after Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell conspired to pack it for generations to come. The only way to re-legitimize the court is to expand it.

You can do your part by making quick calls to Congress today:

Action via Indivisible

While some of these Daily Actions come from our own work as Indivisible Chicago Alliance, others are from our many partners working to advance the progressive agenda. We invite you to join us in supporting their work. Postings from partners do not imply Indivisible Chicago Alliance endorsement of specific policies and positions.
