Hanukkah vigil and musical march for ceasefire on Thursday, December 14 at 4:30 p.m. at Daley Plaza (50 W Washington St)

Hanukkah Vigil and Musical March for Ceasefire 12/14

On the last night of Hanukkah, join Jewish Fast for Gaza, Jewish Voices for Peace Chicago, and IfNotNow Chicago for a vigil and musical march to call for a ceasefire now.

Hanukkah means rededication, and we will be rededicating ourselves to the struggle against genocide, apartheid, and occupation. We’ll sing together, light the Hanukkah candles, and collectively recommit to solidarity with the people of Gaza.

We’ll meet in Daley Plaza (50 W. Washington St.) at 4:30pm on Thursday, December 14. After a program of music and calls to action, we’ll embark on a short musical march, lighting up the streets with glowsticks, tealights, and images for a ceasefire. Feel free to bring your voice and any percussion instruments you might have lying around! Sufganiyot will be present— first come, first serve. RSVP here
