Friday, August 23rd - Wisconsin Phone Banks / Countdown to November

Actions You Can Take

Action 1: Wisconsin Wednesday Phone Banks

Voter contact is the way we'll win in 2024, and phone banking is a big, big part of that. Working the phones gets us to distant corners of Wisconsin where we can have the most impact. And it reaches more voters per shift than any other method.

Indivisible Chicago phone banks attract volunteers from New York to California because we've designed them to be easy and satisfying for veterans and first-timers alike. We provide complete training, extensive background resources, one-on-one support, and a hardy, enthusiastic band of volunteers who will welcome you in and share their experience.

Sign up for Wisconsin Wednesday phone banks, held from August through the November election!

Action 2: Indivisible Evanston Countdown to November

So much to do. So little time!

Join us on Zoom, Tuesday, August 27th at 7pm CT, to hear from the experts on the most effective actions you can take between now and November 5th to help defeat MAGA extremism.

Will Krueger, Deputy Election Protection Director for the WisDems will talk about what's going on in the Wisconsin election and the most effective actions you can take to help in the critical swing state of Wisconsin including poll watching,  canvassing and phone and text banking.

Sara Smirin, Out of State Volunteer Coordinator for Michigan Dems, will talk about how things stand in Michigan and volunteer opportunities for this key swing state.

Ed Yohnka, Communications Director, ACLU of Illinois will talk about Project 2025 and its threat to our Democracy and how you can take action to spread the word and prevent its implementation.

We will also share info on individual communications with family and friends to spread the word about this critical election.  Even if you don't volunteer, you can reach out to family and other people you know to share information on voting and the importance of this election. Join us for information on how.

While some of these Daily Actions come from our own work as Indivisible Chicago Alliance, others are from our many partners working to advance the progressive agenda. We invite you to join us in supporting their work. Postings from partners do not imply Indivisible Chicago Alliance endorsement of specific policies and positions.
