Action 2: Anti-LGBTQ Discrimination & The Supreme Court
Today, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in 303 Creative v. Elenis, a case involving whether states can protect LGBTQ people from discrimination in public accommodations. The Court is being asked to let people with religious objections to such laws opt out, a result that could seriously weaken existing anti-discrimination provisions and ultimately allow the exception to swallow the rule.
Join experts from Americans United for the Separation of Church and State, Demand Justice, Lambda Legal, Legal Defense Fund, and National Women's Law Center to discuss the case and the impact that it could have on LGBTQ equality and anti-discrimination laws nationwide.
Join the virtual event TOMORROW at 2 p.m. CT
