Day of Dignity Refugee Event

In partnership with Islamic Relief USA, the Chicago Refugee Coalition is honored to host Chicago's first-ever Day of Dignity festival, providing essential services to 1000+ refugees, new arrivals, and those most in need. Our venue is Sullivan High School (affectionately known as Refugee High) in the Roger's Park neighborhood.

Free services will include:

  • Dental Cleanings/Exams

  • Resume Preparation & Interview Coaching

  • Culturally Compassionate Mental Wellness

  • Medical Screenings (i.e., Blood Pressure, Diabetes,
    Vaccinations, etc.)

  • Legal Consultations/Know Your Rights Seminars

  • Hot Meal Service

  • Grocery Distribution

  • School Supplies

  • Haircuts

This daylong festival is designed to bring resources to underserved community members and to ensure everyone is able to access critical resources! Service opportunities include Planning Committee membership, corporate group volunteering, and volunteering in person day-of. Please join us!
